Luke Etherington

Luke joined Cushman & Wakefield in February 2019 as Head of Capital Markets – Victoria.  Luke has 17 years property experience having previously been with CBRE for over four years, as Director of Capital Markets – Institutional Investments where he successfully marketed and transacted more than $2.5 billion worth of commercial property.  Luke spent nine years at Colonial First State GAM as Senior Manager of Direct Property Transactions and Regional Portfolio Manager (CPA) where he successfully transacted circa $3 billion in commercial, industrial and retail sales, and managed a $2.5 billion portfolio of A Grade Office assets.

Luke’s strengths include; strategic transaction management, deep understanding of buyers and their mandates, and knowledge of funding markets. His well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills mitigating transaction risks and provides significant benefit to both buyers and sellers. Nine years on the client side has enabled him to develop strong working relationships with Institutional Investors, Superannuation Funds, Investment Banks & Lenders, Wealthy Private Investors, Developers, Agents and Tenants.
